Zambia offers the most remote and raw bush experiences in Southern Africa with classic wildlife experiences, outstanding game viewing and superb small safari camps. It is the home of exceptional walking safari-guides who have made Zambia not only their life but into what it is now. Also within this wonderful country is the spectacle of the Victoria Falls and the mighty Zambezi River.
Zambia boasts outstanding National Parks teeming with birds and animals. Choose from a wide array of safari experiences from the the tree-climbing lions in the Busanga Plains to the large amounts of hippo pods and elephant herds of the South Luangwa to the wilderness of the Lower Zambezi. Zambia's topography is also, quite simply, amazing.
Personally I love the walking safaris offered in the South Luangwa National Park, based from the small, usually 6-bedded, bush camps with experienced and qualified guides. There is something quite exhilarating seeing wild animals on foot but helpful to know that you are accompanied not only by your ranger and tea-bearer but also an armed Zambian government guide
Zambia is untamed, largely unexplored and as wild as it gets – offering a unique safari experience with great game, sights and activities.
