The Seychelles consist of 115 granite and coral islands a thousand miles east off the coast of Kenya. Often described as the 'Original Garden of Eden' each island has a natural character of its own with North Island, Fregate and Cousine being private paradises. Praslin a UNESCO world heritage site with the primeval rainforest of Vallee de Mai where you can see the legendary Coco de Mer in its natural habitat.
Bird Island is so named as the island is inhabitated by 3 million Sooty Terns between May and November and Denis Island is just magical as are Desroches or Alphonse. Make your choice from solid granite and mountainous or scenery straight from the story books with white sand and crystal clear seas.
The snorkelling and scuba diving in the Seychelles is second to none with abundant marine life (about 850 species of fish) and incredible deep sea and big game fishing. While in the Seychelles you will find the more relaxed water activities like sailing, windsurfing and canoeing rather than motorised water sports.
Although most guests visit the islands for their exquisite beaches and water activities you can also go mountain walking and horse riding. While in the Seychelles it is fun to do some island hopping experiencing a few of the islands. Otherwise enjoy the activities or stay as relaxed as you like where the sun shines and life is as laid back as you can get.
